A new hospitality retreat organized along a Blue Ribbon fly fishing stream features fishing cabins amongst Tamarack trees. Full bathroom, bedroom and sleeping lofts allow for up to 4 guests per cabin with a 12’ wall of glass for expansive nature views. Each cabin is 200 square feet with a wood stove, firepit and exterior deck.
Taking design cues from an existing drying shed on the property the cabins are simple stacked wood elements with large windows facing the running river. Cabins site on simple footings that can be adjusted to the varied terrain.
Cozy interiors feature wood stoves, generous beds, large bathrooms and hooks for everything!
Deck-mounted wood hot tubs offer views of the river and dreams of catching trout.
A-Frame cabins accommodate larger groups and are outfitted with bunks, kitchens and wood stoves. Warm interior finishes glow at night and blend with the surrounding forest.

An existing shed on the property served as the design inspiration and narrative for the small cabins. Black steel roofing, fir siding and exposed purlin construction combine for an appropriate western aesthetic.
